NUTR3580 There are axial guide support rollers

NUTR3580 There are axial guide support rollers
I. Overview of Core Features: Why Choose NUTR?
Before choosing to use NUTR, it is essential to understand its unique advantages:
Extremely high radial load-bearing capacity: The key lies in the fact that it uses fully packed drum-shaped rollers inside, which are in line contact. This enables it to have a much higher load-bearing capacity than ball bearings of the same size.
Self-aligning capability: The outer surface of the bearing outer ring is spherical, and it is in contact with the spherical bearing housing. This enables automatic compensation for installation errors of up to ±2°, preventing edge stress caused by shaft bending or misalignment.
Ready-to-use: The sealing components are pre-installed and high-quality lubricating grease is filled in before leaving the factory, eliminating the need for complex on-site debugging.
Sturdy and durable: The bearing seats are usually made of high-strength cast iron and can withstand shocks and vibrations.
II. Main Application Scenarios (Where are they used?)
The NUTR roller bearings are specifically designed for medium and low-speed, heavy-load, and impact-bearing conditions. Typical applications include:

Transportation equipment (the most classic application):
Belt conveyor: As the end support for the idler (support roller).
Chain conveyors, plate conveyors: Support the chains or plates.
Drum conveyor line: As the supporting bearing for the drum.
Agricultural machinery:
The transmission wheels or tension wheels of equipment such as combine harvesters and tractors.
Architecture and Construction Equipment:
The pulleys or guide wheels of equipment such as vibratory rollers and concrete mixing stations.
Other:
Any transmission shaft or guiding mechanism that requires heavy support.
III. Installation and Usage Steps and Key Precautions
Correct installation is the first step to ensure its longevity.
Step 1: Verify the model and conduct inspection
Model verification: Ensure that the model of the NUTR bearing received is consistent with the design drawings.
Visual inspection: Check if the bearings have any damage from磕碰 during transportation and whether the sealing rings are intact.
Step 2: Installation Preparation
Installation surface requirements: The installation base for the bearing seat must have sufficient rigidity and strength, and the surface should be flat and clean. If the base is uneven, during the tightening of the bolts, it will force the bearing seat to deform, resulting in the bearing getting stuck.
Requirements for installation: Although NUTR has self-aligning capability, during installation, it is still necessary to ensure the levelness of the shaft and the coaxiality of each bearing seat. The self-aligning function is used to compensate for minor errors, rather than to correct severe installation mistakes.
Step 3: Install onto the shaft
Clean the journal: Thoroughly clean the installation area of the shaft, removing burrs, rust and dirt.
Recommended method: It is best to use hydraulic nuts or special sleeves to press the bearing into the predetermined position of the shaft by applying a constant pressure.
Prohibition of direct striking: It is strictly prohibited to strike the bearing housing or the outer ring of the bearing directly with a hammer. This will easily damage the internal rollers and sealing structure. If striking is necessary, a copper rod or a wooden block should be placed on the inner ring of the bearing to distribute the force evenly.
Step 4: Fix the bearing housing
Place the bearing housing with the shaft already installed onto the base plate, and insert the appropriate bolts.
Fastening bolts: Tighten the bolts in a diagonal sequence to ensure that the bearing seat is securely and smoothly attached to the base surface, avoiding unilateral stress.
IV. Lubrication and Maintenance
Initial Lubrication: The NUTR bearings are filled with long-lasting lubricating grease upon出厂, and can operate for a long time under normal conditions.
Further lubrication:
Most NUTR bearing housings are equipped with lubrication ports and drain holes.
Method: Use a high-pressure oil gun and inject the same type of lubricating grease through the lubrication nozzle. The injection of new grease will force the old grease and worn-out impurities out through the drain hole. Make sure to remove the drain hole plug before injecting the grease.
Cycle: The lubrication cycle depends on the working environment (temperature, humidity, contamination level) and the operating time. Generally, you can refer to the recommendations provided by the equipment manufacturer, or conduct it during regular maintenance.
V. Common Errors and Taboos
Error 1: Direct hammering for installation.
Consequences: The sealing lip is damaged, allowing foreign objects to enter and lubricating oil to leak out; it directly damages the rollers or raceways, leading to premature failure.
Error 2: Bearing axial loads.
Consequence: The NUTR bearing is designed to withstand large radial loads, but its ability to bear axial loads is very limited. Incorrect axial forces will quickly cause the bearing to be damaged.
Error 3: Mixing different types of lubricating grease.
Consequence: Different brands of lubricants may not be compatible. Mixing them together will result in reduced performance and even blockage of the lubrication channels.
Error Four: Ignoring the drainage hole.
Consequence: If the drain hole is not opened during the injection process, the internal pressure will rise sharply, which may damage the sealing parts and even push impurities into the bearing interior.
VI. Fault Symptoms and Inspection
Abnormal Noise: During operation, there is a harsh scraping or impact sound, which usually indicates that the internal components are worn out or lacking in oil.
Stalling or poor rotation: When manually turning the roller, it feels heavy or there are stuck points. This could be due to the failure of lubrication, internal damage, or the intrusion of foreign objects.
Excessive temperature rise: The surface temperature of the bearing housing is significantly higher than the ambient temperature. This could be due to excessive lubrication (causing stirring and heat generation) or insufficient lubrication (resulting in dry friction).
Lubricant leakage: A sign of failure or damage to the sealing component.
Summary
The key to the success of using NUTR ball bearings can be summarized as:
Choose the right model -> Follow the installation guidelines -> Regularly lubricate -> Keep checking frequently.
Treat it as a robust and reliable "functional wheel" assembly. With proper application and maintenance, it will become one of the longest-lasting components in your heavy equipment. If you have specific application scenarios, I can provide more targeted advice.
